Careers Service

Haydon School offers careers information, advice and guidance service for 12- 19-year-olds. This means that all students in years 8-13 can get information, guidance and advice to help them make important decisions and choices.

Indie Nizzar is the Careers Adviser at Haydon School and is in three days a week

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
St Mary’s building (Library)

Students can get support on courses & qualifications, employment, apprenticeships & training, higher education, careers, leisure time and more.

This is done through;

  • One2One Guidance appointments
  • Attendance at some parents evenings, options evenings and HE evening
  • Student drop in’s
  • Assemblies
  • Group work sessions
  • Careers Event
  • Up-to-date resources on Fronter
