We strongly recommend you follow the route set out below when applying to Haydon:
1. Course information

When thinking about which courses you want study in Sixth Form, a really useful starting point is to look at our Course Information pages or the Course Guide. Here you will find key information about each course we offer and contact details for further information.

We advise that students visit university websites to check entry criteria as part of their process for choosing A Level courses. We also suggest using the UCAS Search Tool to identify which universities offer the courses they may be interested in and what the entry criteria for those courses is. The web address is: https://digital.ucas.com/search. Russell Group Universities have created a website called Informed Choices https://www.informedchoices.ac.uk/. From here you can receive guidance on what A Level subjects to choose and where they may lead you both university and career-wise.

Further Mathematics - If you are considering studying Further Mathematics at A level, you will need to take an entrance exam. See this document for further information and resources to help you prepare for the exam.

Chemistry and Physics - In order to study Chemistry and Physics with us you must also take AS or A Level Mathematics.

2. ROUTES AND OPTIONS

Once you have an idea about your courses, now take a look at the Sixth Form Routes and the entrance requirements for your chosen courses (pages 3 & 4 of the Course Guide 2020 -21).
