Haydon@Home Challenges Week 1

Given we now have an extended period of time ahead for remote learning, we have re-introduced the Haydon@Home weekly challenges.  It is a chance to help promote the school culture and also give students some fun tasks to complete aside from all their live lessons.  

This  time we have changed it slightly with each Year Team setting their own challenges for their specific year groups.

P.S - Students can also enter other year team challenges (if they wish) & Staff are also welcome to participate!

YR 7 - Chilli Nachos  

Chilli Home Nachos

In line with our Haydon @ Home cooking challenge.

This week's recipe is : Chilli Nachos  (Click Here) 

Students can swap the beef for a soya mince and take out the cheese to fit into 'Veganuary​' if they wish.

Yr 8 - RECREATE A FILM POSTER 

Miss Thompson’s Haydon@Home Challenge Recreate a Famous Film
This week's Haydon at home challenge is to recreate a famous film poster or image!

Find an iconic film poster or an iconic image from a film and use whatever you have in your home to recreate the image as best as you can. Be creative! Think about how you can use normal household objects to represent something more cinematic. And most importantly have fun!

This challenge will be placed on Satchel:One alongside the newsletter please submit your entries through Satchel:One by Wednesday 13th of January for a chance of winning.

This week's Haydon at home challenge is to recreate a famous film poster or image!

Find an iconic film poster or an iconic image from a film and use whatever you have in your home to recreate the image as best as you can. Be creative! Think about how you can use normal household objects to represent something more cinematic. And most importantly have fun!

Yr 10 - Nature Photography 

This week's Haydon at home challenge for Year 10 is to send us your best winter photograph on a nature walk. 

We are on a hunt for your best pictures whilst out on a walk. Be creative and be inspired by nature and the lovely cold weather.

Deadline Monday 18th January.

Yr 11 - Skipping Challenge  

Mr Segar's Skipping Challenge - For students to attempt to do a double skip, which means two revolutions of the rope in one jump or just skip for three minutes.
