Virtual Aspiring Medics Workshop - 6pm
For students interested in applying for medicine courses. This will be led by Shivam Chauhan (Haydon Head Boy 2018) who is a medical student and currently the senior manager for the company Medic Mind.

Wednesday 27th January
Online Video - Why consider apprenticeships and how do you apply? - Available on SMH from 8am

Virtual Uni and Apprenticeship fair - 12.00-6.00pm
This free event will feature universities and colleges from across the UK as well as ten live webinars on essential topics such as UCAS personal statements, clearing, and student finance. Students do not attend for all 6 hours It would be beneficial to register for this event before the day, which you can do here: https://www.ukuniversitysearch.com/fair-signup/virtual-fair-4
Please watch the linked video which will give you an outline of what they are and how to apply. Even if you are strongly considering university, it is still worth understanding this route as it is possible to study for a degree apprenticeship with combines both aspects.
If after watching the video you are interested in this route please complete the linked google form so Ms Nizzar (School's Career's advisor) is able to make contact to offer further support
Thursday 28th January
Launch of Unifrog - Online introduction video.
Unifrog is the online platform we use in school to help students explore careers/courses, search for universities/apprenticeship vacancies and support with writing CV’s and Personal Statements. Students will receive a welcome email from Unifrog in their school email inbox. The video will be available from 8am on SMH
Virtual Oxbridge information evening -6pm
This will be run by representatives from Oxford University and some of their student ambassadors. It will give guidance on the application process for Oxbridge.
