Sixth Form

Haydon School has a vibrant Sixth Form with over 500 students. We offer over 40 advanced level courses all on one site Prospectus.

• Outstanding academic achievement Exam Result
• Highly successful university and careers preparation programme (in 2008 89% of students in year 13 applied to university)
• Successful Oxbridge applications programme (in 2008 four students gained places at Oxford and Cambridge Universities in Medicine, Chemistry, Geography and Social and Political Studies)
• Sixth Form Leadership programme including House Captains and Faculty Prefects
• Outstanding added value – Haydon has been one of the best Sixth Forms in the country for the past 3 years

The sixth form is open access welcoming applications from students of all abilities, including students new to Haydon (approximately one third of students are new to Haydon).
