Language College
Since Haydon School was made a Language College, the programme of activities and enrichment has continued to expand. These include:
Community Languages
Haydon run after school classes for native speakers to improve their skills in the language and to work towards a qualification in that language. These are open to both Haydon and non-Haydon students.
Hillingdon Summer school for Gifted Linguists
The summer school, which has been held at Haydon for a number of years, takes place in the first two weeks of the summer holidays.
Haydon Goes to China
In July, a group of pupils and teachers from Haydon School were lucky enough to travel to Shanghai to immerse themselves completely in the language and culture of the mysterious, exotic and hi tech city.
Year 8 Trip to Cologne
We have an annual trip to Cologne for Year 8 to visit the Traditional Christmas markets and try out our language skills.
