Informative Production & Workshop for Parents

As part of our Citizenship and PSHEE programme we would like to invite parents/carers to a theatre production and group work programme on Tuesday 12th February 2019 from 6.00pm onwards, which tells the story of Daniel Spargo-Mabbs who tragically died at the age of 16 from an overdose of MDMA.  ‘I Love You, Mum – I Promise I Won’t Die’ is a verbatim play, written by acclaimed playwright Mark Wheeller

Year 9 students will also be taking part in theatre production and group work programme on Monday 11 February 2019, http://dsmfoundation.org.uk/news/iloveyoumumplay-on-tour-this-spring/

Aims of our evening are to offer drug and alcohol awareness sessions for parents and carers which update them on the world of young people, drugs and alcohol, what they need to know and what they can do to help their children make safe choices.

How long is the evening? It is delivered in a single 75-minute session which comprises the 45-minute play and 30 minute Q&A workshop in our St Mary’s Hall.
